Feedback from OctoGônes
We really had a great time at OctoGônes 14! The friendly atmosphere and the kindness of the organizers as well as the other authors with whom I shared the booth truly made this experience unique. Once the initial stress passed, their presence helped us maintain a joyful pace throughout the event.
The visitors we met were unanimously charmed by our character and creature creation and printing tools! This appreciation was evident even among those for whom the fantasy universe or character progression games are not, or are no longer, their cup of tea.
The lore, especially its multiverse aspect, generated a lot of interest but also some vigilance. We completely understand this reaction and that’s why we are proceeding with a lot of caution, prioritizing quality over quantity. Overall, the little lore that we shared was very well received!
We returned with wonderful memories, thanks to the warm welcome at the Forge booth. For your information, this year I took the initiative to organize the booth, improving communication with the other participants and the convention organizers. This initiative was so well appreciated that the organizers have decided that I will be in charge of managing the Forge booth in the future! Our spot for next year is thus already secured 😉
A HUGE THANK YOU to Christian Bernard, the lore author, who was an incredible support throughout this event. Like a grey eminence, his presence and initiatives greatly enriched our experience to such an extent that it's hard for me to find the right words to express all my gratitude! Future conventions now seem unimaginable without you 🙂
