The creatures you encounter during your adventures may have resistances and weaknesses to certain types of damage. These special properties influence the way they absorb damage when attacked.
When a creature has resistance to an element or a type of weapon, it can better withstand attacks of that element or weapon type. The damage is reduced by an absorption mechanism equivalent to the creature's level.
- Damage (resistance) = Normal damage - Creature's level
In the event of a critical hit by the attacker, the reduction in damage is carried out after the calculation of critical damage (+50%).
- Critical damage (resistance) = (Normal damage +50%) - Creature's level
Conversely, if a creature has a weakness to an element or a type of weapon, it is more vulnerable to attacks of that element or weapon type.
In the event of a successful attack exploiting a weakness of the outfit, the attacking player adds their own level to the damage inflicted.
- Damage (weakness) = Normal damage + Attacker's level
In the event of a critical hit by the attacker, the increase in damage is carried out after the calculation of critical damage (+50%).
- Critical damage (weakness) = (Normal damage +50%) + Attacker's level
