Free Action (F)

Free actions are simple actions that can be performed in addition to the regular move action and attack.

Free actions are generally allowed after the character or creature's main attack. This means that the character can attack first, then decide to use a free action if conditions permit.

Examples:

  • Charisma (CHA): Using charisma to reason with, intimidate, negotiate, or otherwise influence an opponent.
  • Drink a Potion or Equivalent: A character can drink a potion or use an equivalent item as a free action, as long as they have the item within range and the item's specific rules allow it.
