The Outer Worlds

Among those who remained facing the Gate, some directed all their power and energy towards the misty passage. Deep within themselves, believing they were still capable of evolving further, they desired to leave this frozen world to create others more to their liking. The cloudy froth solidified, giving way to a reflective substance that did not mirror their image. They began to see on its surface images that others did not perceive. Forms and aspects that did not exist in these simple places, mere emanations of their repressed desires, ignited their urge to realize these things.

Five of them extended their consciousness towards the Gate, and they were sucked through it. On the other side, they were still immaterial, but their power was such that they could materialize what they desired. They chose to take names and materialized their desires:

  • Faerie shaped teeming realities where almost all creatures are sentient, and magic permeates everything.
  • Synchron founded realms where thought and logic reign supreme. A hierarchy was established based on the sole proof of intelligent creation, and gradually the most creative races prevailed over the others.
  • Mennon thought of worlds where technology is most advanced. In some of his creations, a kind of magic fluctuated through the ages.
  • Autarcauste seemed to be the amalgamation of the desires of Synchron and Mennon, and his worlds appeared to sparkle like fireworks.
  • D’Okotade vanished without a trace...

Thus was the fate of the Fallen Creators, for none found their way back to the Absolute.
